Introducing Merve Kahraman’s Exclusive Lighting Collection for Anthropologie "Cabinet of Curiosities"

I’ve always admired Anthropologie’s romantic, whimsical elegance, and that spirit deeply shaped the vision for this exclusive lighting collection. Three words that guided me through this collection are Cabinet of Curiosities, Magic in Chance Encounters, and Nature’s Healing Power. Anthropologie's poetic aesthetic and emphasis on storytelling naturally resonated with my own approach to design. My goal with every design is to create an emotional bond between the object and its user. With these lamps, I wanted to spark curiosity, wonder, humor, and joy. The forms, textures, and colors in this collection draw inspiration from the natural world. My intention is to satisfy our collective longing for nature and bring a sense of enchantment indoors through these lamps. I think of each piece as a living character: a chandelier blooming like a glass flower, or a table lamp glowing like a magical mushroom. By using warm, natural materials like cane and brass,  with colorful glass and hand-painted ceramics, and creating a soft palette of yellow, green, blue, and terracotta, I hoped to create a collection that feels poetic, playful, and alive.
